Pottery Whole Day
Delve into pottery techniques over the course of six hours.
About the class
Throw yourself into learning the techniques and artistry of one of mans’ oldest skills. The course covers hand building pots and using our potter wheel to create your own unique pots. If you are new to pottery, we would recommend that you split the six hours into two three-hour sessions. Should you do this, you can return a week after your first session and paint any pots that you made. This class is taught as a group of four which can be booked individually or as a group. We are also able to offer private classes. Should you want this, please specify when you book. At the end of the six hours, you can take 6 to 7 finished items home with you, and should you make any more, you are welcome to take these too, for an additional charge. Please note that it will take two to three weeks for the clay to dry and be fired, therefore you will need to return to collect it at a later date. Alternatively, we can post your creations to you (postage fees apply), however, we cannot accept responsibility for breakages while in transport to you. We will keep pots for 3 months. Please ensure that your nails are a suitable length for the course, and if you have long hair, you will also need to bring something to tie it up with. For our cancellation policy please see the bottom of the page.
